Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the wild west in a great game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the house, not like most other poker games that players play against other players. By betting against the dealer, beginner players don’t have to fret about other, more skillful people taking their $$$$.
A further Pai Gow benefit is the relatively leisurely game play, novices can take their time and scheme while not having to make quick choices.
It’s also simpler to enjoy for a very long time with basically a small amount of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards faces showing and the croupier is dealt 7 cards face down.
A 5 card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the dealer’s.
