When will You Going to Learn that Texas Hold em Poker is All About Seating!
I have been betting poker now for about 5 years, I’ve bet cards my entire life beginning with games of Gin Rummy for pennies with my Grand Mother, to all of the various forms of Brag and general random games such as Go Fish, Crash and one so beautifully called, card on head casino game. I used to always win, whatever casino game we were betting and although I liked to call it skill, it was very tough to justify thinking about the randomness of the games we were betting, so I was over joyed to accept I was having an extended run of luck.
Then came Poker, or a lot more importantly Texas hold’em Poker, made popular by a bunch of Texas card gamblers in the 60’s and since developed into one of the biggest card phenomena ever witnessed. Poker is absolutely the new black, it can be uber cool with quite a few of the world’s leading celebs racing to have their name associated with it. Just a quick flick through the TV channels nowadays and you’ll be able to not escape from poker, and needless to say there is the fabled World Series of Poker, the Holy Grail and Mecca all rolled into one for each single player.
So with all of this new discovered popularity, with so many Television shows devoted to poker, and magazine and book shelves loaded up with high quality material written by the foremost minds on poker, when are people going to understand that this casino game is all about position!?
Perhaps I should not get so worked up about this, after all the more persons who wrestle with the delicate tactics and methods required for winning consistently at Holdem, the much better it’s for everyone else, correct? I mean, if they can’t be troubled to look at all of the obtainable data about why position is so critical, why must we bother? We should just be glad there’s one more fish at the table!
It’s true, we should not reward idleness with advice and aid. Even so, I liken this to a friendly game of football. Naturally the levels aren’t so superior, but when you notice a player struggling, you help them, provide them a number of advice, ultimately showing them a method to love, really like and be thankful for the casino game as much as you. I am asking all house gamblers to do the same thing with their poker friends who haven’t quite got a handle on the nuances of wagering position. Support them to grow their respect for the casino game. Certainly, don’t attempt to try this one in your nearby gambling den, the sharks will not take pleasure in you instructing their supper how to swim!
