Novice Strategy for Pai Gow Poker
Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with old origins. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the west in a great game for beginner level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the casino, unlike most other poker games that gamblers play with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, starting players don’t need to worry about other, more skillful individuals taking their moolla.
An additional Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game pace, newcomers will be able to take their time and scheme without needing to make hasty decisions.
It is also simpler to play for a very long time with just a tiny amount of cash since, to not win, each of your hands must be under both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is dealt 7 cards face up and the dealer is dealt seven cards face down.
A 5 card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
