Poker Calculator Announcement: Holdem Pirate and Hold’em Hawk Barred by Poker Stars

Since the Party Poker collapse a few years ago, Poker Stars has come forth as the undeniable leader in absolute numbers of net poker players. They have the biggest tournaments, the most active tables, the largest cash games, and the quickest filling up sit down and go tournaments on the web. With that comes strength – the strength to pick your associates, affiliates, and closer to our point; appropriate computer software.

Long have I been suggesting Holdem Hawk and Hold em Pirate (they are really the same) poker calculators as easy to use and visibly desirable poker calculators. Lately though, these items have pressed the boundaries of acceptable use, a minimum of inside the view of Poker Stars, and therefore have been prohibited from use on that website. This is sad news, as a decent product, not unlike several of the suitable computer software permitted by Stars, is now virtually grounded because the biggest poker internet site on the planet thinks it’s too directly related to an Operative Poker Calculator.

An Operative Poker Calculator is like a secret advisor operating for you, gathering and mining player data that you’ll be able to use on them at a later date. The thing is, you don’t need to be at the table for this to occur. The computer software (database) is working all the time for you. For the majority of poker sites, that’s over the line of justness, just as in actual life as well.

Except Hold em Pirate and Hold em Hawk are in fact Empirical Poker Calculators, just the same as Hold em Indicator is. These kinds of poker calculators only gather data on your competitors whenever you are at the table, just like you were playing in an actual scenario.

So why the Poker Stars Smack? Here is a genuine warning I received from Poker Stars although running Hold em Pirate:

Upon an overview of your account, we locate that you’re using an external program identifiedas Poker Sherlock, or its related programs, Poker Edge, PokerBotPro, Hold em Hawk and Holdem Pirate……PokerStars shall be entitled to take such action as it sees fit, including instantly blocking access to the Games to such User, terminating such User’s account with PokerStars and confiscating all funds held in the relevant Poker Stars "actual money account".

Hey, did you observe the "seizing all monies" line? That’s what you may do whenever you are this huge!

The "related applications" is the origin of the issue. The business that created Hawk and Pirate also produce Poker Edge and PokerBotPro, which are data miners. In fact, I believe that Stars suspects Hawk and Pirate truly mine data for these related programs, whilst looking like an Empirical Poker Calculator on the surface.

So therein lies the heart of the trouble. If you happen to wager on on Stars and have Hawk or Pirate, you’re out of luck, as I have attempted to change this judgment. I got a polite reply from the staff members at Poker Stars, but truly, it isn’t likely to change. The good news though is that Hold em Indicator has been added to Poker Stars appropriate software checklist, and it is the only empirical calculator to be accepted by them.
